- Prospecting and Lead Generation
- Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities through various methods including networking, referrals, warm calling, and online research.
- Follow up on leads provided by the company and convert them into sales.
- Client Consultation
- Meet with potential clients to understand their insurance needs and preferences.
- Provide detailed information on different insurance policies and products, explaining their features, benefits, and costs.
- Sales and Policy Management
- Recommend suitable insurance policies and assist clients in selecting the best options.
- Process applications, renewals, and modifications of insurance policies.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
- Customer Service
- Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing any questions or concerns regarding their policies.
- Assist clients with claims processing and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Compliance and Professional Development
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, company policies, and product knowledge.
- Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using sales and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Associate’s degree or higher in business, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to obtain Property, Casualty, Life, Health, & Accident licenses
